Congratulations to Jim D. His bass pic is the first open water BASS picture of the season. This 4 lb. largemouh was caught in the Merrimack on a Spinnerbait using a Daiwa reel purchased from Joe a decade ago. He wrote that the Daiwa reel is still "going strong". This was the earliest that Jim has caught a bass! Hopefully it will be a great season! Oh yeah, it was caught in MA. Yes, that still counts :-)
Ashutosh sent in one of our first ice fishing pics, so it's only fitting he sends in our last. Well Done!
Ashutosh certainly put a lot of hours on the ice this winter and it paid off!
April
Early March was unseasonably warm with a number of nice bass caught. Then, Mother Nature cooled things down a bit. April should see warming temps and more fish!
